Check what “entry” actually means

Stonehenge, the Roman Baths and Windsor Castle are three separate tickets. This product does not go to Windsor. For Bath, “free time in the city” and “Roman Baths included” are different days. Open the option list on the Viator page before you compare prices.

Pack for a field, then a city

Salisbury Plain has no shelter. Tours run in the rain. Waterproof layer and shoes you can walk a circuit in, then something you are willing to wear into a Georgian tea room. The coach is warm; the stones are not.

Plan a late return

Door-to-door this is an eleven-hour day, and the M4 does not care about the advertised finish time. Do not book a West End curtain on the same night. Sleep in London and let the coach be late.

Is the two-stop Stonehenge and Bath day better than Windsor, Bath and Stonehenge?

For most people, yes. The three-stop loop is coverage: a castle, a stone circle and a city, each at the minimum. Dropping Windsor — the one you can do yourself on a train — is how Bath stops being the leftover. Book the three-stop only if one free day has to show you everything.

Does the ticket include Stonehenge entry — and is that skip-the-line?

It can include entry. 2452BATH lets you add Stonehenge timed admission when you book — take that option in summer. A reserved slot is the useful product: you are not walking up to a visitor-centre queue with a coachload. It is not a “skip the line and walk among the stones” ticket. Standard English Heritage admission is the path around the circle. The Roman Baths are a separate optional add-on; “free time in Bath” is not the same as walking into the bathing complex.

Can I cancel if the weather is bad or my plans move?
