Our new Outlander day tours from Edinburgh are perfect for fans of Outlander , one of the most popular TV shows , Get a unique insight into the world of Outlander by taking a unique tour of three key locations in the life of Outlander’s Jamie Fraser – Lallybroch ( Midhope Castle ) , Jamie’s ancestral home , Culross ( Cranesmuir ) and Drummond Castle ( the Palace of Versailles ) Lallybroch Castle . Midhope was built in the 15th Century by John Martyne, laird of Medhope. It was rebuilt in the mid 1600s and remains much the same today. Tours for groups of up to four people run daily six days a week , Pickup from your hotel in Edinburgh is free . This tour is available as a shore excursion with free pickup from your port . Drummond Castle gardens were the Palace of Versailles in Outlander. Culross was Cranesmuir and Culross Palace gardens were Castle Leoch. Last minute bookings are available for this tour - book up to 24 hours before date of tour .Please contact us for more details
